Like any group of people, our community holds a wide variety of beliefs. Yet, there are a few things we have named together and gathered around:

IDENTITY AND MISSION

EXTENDED SPIRITUAL FAMILY

We are an Anabaptist church within the Mennonite Brethren Church of Manitoba (MBCM), the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (CCMBC), the International Community of Mennonite Brethren (ICOMB), and even more broadly, the Mennonite World Conference (MWC).

What are Anabaptists? We're a lot of things, but one is that we do 'confessions' rather than 'creeds.'

A creed is a statement of belief that is fixed, unchanging throughout time.

A confession, on the other hand, is a kind of living document—a snapshot of the community's beliefs at a specific moment in history. Confessions shape Anabaptists, giving churches common language for shared faith and practice. Yet they also change and undergo revision as the wider community sees fit.
